Job Summary
Resolves, collects, and manages past due accounts and outstanding invoices. Entry-level professional with knowledge of basic principles, theories, and concepts.
Job Description
This position will manage, collect, and monitor revenue which is billed on accounts to ensure payments are received and open past due balances are resolved within terms of contracts.
Qualifications
Provide support for the collections personnel to ensure that maximum revenues are recovered prior to forwarding major business customers to outside agencies. Using proper collections methods reduces bad debt and PUC complaints.
Work assigned accounts monthly to ensure debt is collected in a timely manner. Work one on one with Sales Account Managers and/or customers to reach a satisfactory payment resolution.
Create extensive payment histories to prove debt is owed in order to collect monies owed and reduce aging.
Complete daily follow ups for business accounts (i.e. suspends, collections reviews, manual disconnects and manual write offs).
Required:
Must have strong customer service skills and the utmost professional demeanor when dealing with customers.
Successful completion of all assessments and interviews required for this position
Preferred:
Minimum 2 years Telco experience that demonstrates knowledge of PUC requirements.
Experience in credit and collections systems
Experience with credit and collections as related to the Telco Industry
Education
High School Diploma or Equivalent
Bachelors or Equivalent
