OVERVIEW OF THE COMPANY20th Century Fox
One of the world's largest producers and distributors of motion pictures, 20th Century Fox Film (TCFF) produces, acquires and distributes motion pictures throughout the world. These motion pictures are produced or acquired by the following units of 20th Century Fox Film: Twentieth Century Fox, Fox 2000 Pictures, Fox Searchlight Pictures, Fox International Productions, and Twentieth Century Fox Animation. During fiscal 2017, TCFF placed 25 motion pictures in general release in the United States. The motion pictures produced and/or distributed by TCFF in the United States and international territories in fiscal 2017 included Hidden Figures, Logan, Jackie, and The Boss Baby. TCFF has released or currently plans to release approximately 23 motion pictures in the United States in fiscal 2018.
JOB DESCRIPTION
Responsibilities:
• Preparation of the annual cash flow budget and quarterly forecasts, as well as monthly cash flow actuals reporting.
• Consolidation and preparation of quarterly balance sheet in accordance with US GAAP to be used for SEC reporting purposes by 21st Century Fox (parent company).
• Analytically review of consolidated balance sheet.
• Support the monthly and quarterly close, including preparation of supporting schedules and reconciliation of sub-ledger accounts to the General Ledger.
• Preparation of the monthly fixed asset/capex schedules, including the maintenance of fixed asset additions and depreciation.
• Work closely with multiple operating divisions and markets to obtain information and ensure appropriate reporting and variance explanations.
• Development of process enhancements to improve efficiency and accuracy.
• Perform or assist in preparation of other ad hoc projects as necessary, including government or tax requests, internal audit requests, external audit requests, and parent company requests.
Requirements:
• Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance from an accredited 4 year college/university.
• 2 to 4 years minimum accounting and or Financial Reporting experience.
• CPA or CPA candidate preferred
• Big 4 or Public Accounting experience a plus.
• Strong Excel skills including advanced functions i.e. pivot tables, V-Look up etc.
• Must possess strong communication, analytical and problem solving
• PeopleSoft Financials experience helpful.
• Entertainment and/or highly matrixed creative industry experience is useful.
• Must be a team player, detail oriented, a self-starter and able to work independently.
