Job Summary:
A Video and Digital Producer to with iHeartMedia and its portfolio of nationally syndicated radio programs.
Video/Digital Producer, iHeartMedia will be a key member of the Premiere Networks Digital Team at iHeartMedia and its portfolio of nationally syndicated radio programs. They will be focused on growing the digital footprint of Premiere's shows/brands and on-air personalities through owned and operated web/mobile properties. They will assist the Senior Director of Content Operations at iHeartRadio and the syndicated show staffs by crafting video content and occasional graphics for shows including The Breakfast Club, On Air with Ryan Seacrest, The Elvis Duran Show, The Steve Harvey Morning Show, The Bobby Bones Show, On With Mario Lopez and many others. The ideal candidate is a storyteller at heart - both visually and narratively. They have experience as a video producer, writer and editor and are used to collaborating across teams to make content that is new, interesting and highly shareable. They also are aware of the best way to share their content socially, and possess a deep understanding of digital culture and the ability to identify what makes a good story. They can adapt to an infrastructure with a lot of moving parts and voices specific to each show’s brand. Additionally, they should be able to brainstorm ways to increase traffic to, and engagement and awareness around, the various properties. This person is a self-starter who is organized, detail-oriented and able to meet deadlines. The position will be based in New York, NY.
Duties and Responsibilities:
• Create original and social video content
• Generate creative and compelling ideas for features and other shareable content across multiple syndicated shows for Premiere.
• Produce coverage and content around key events and important launches for Premiere shows and editorial integrations with iHeartRadio.
• Implement content socially.
• Strategize ways to increase traffic.
• Work with other departments to collect assets and build national sweepstakes.
• Available to work occasional weekends.
Qualifications/Skills:
• Knowledge of Final Cut/Premiere and Photoshop
• Familiarity with motion graphics and After Effects preferred
• 1-2 years of relevant experience in video production
• Video experience in a quick-paced environment
• Interpersonal skills and ability to interact and work with staff at all levels and collaborate with a team on a daily basis
• A collaborative and positive attitude
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
• Self-starter with excellent time management skills and the ability to prioritize, multi-task, and work under shifting deadlines.
• Knowledge of MS-Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
• Familiarity with content discovery and social monitoring platforms
• Experience with CMS publishing tools
• Knowledge of the radio landscape and major personalities from various formats.
• Bachelor's degree (Journalism/English/Communications preferred)
