Executive Coordinator, ForbesWoman
Description
The role of Executive Coordinator reports directly into both the Executive Vice President of Forbes Media and the Executive Director of ForbesWoman. Efforts will primarily focus around supporting Forbes’ diverse and extensive media initiatives dedicated to serving women in business and leadership, with a major focus around building community with today’s top female leaders.
This role will be responsible for daily coordination of logistics, content research, event coordination, project management, and calendar oversight.
Responsibilities:
• Assist with outreach and production aspects of various leadership-focused video series
• Coordinate event production efforts in the women’s space, including outreach and logistics
• Liaise with Forbes sales and marketing teams regarding around sponsorship/advertising programs dedicated to women in business and leadership
• Conduct research as needed for specific projects
• Manage executive logistics including schedules and calendar requests
• Communicate on behalf of management
Required Competencies/ Skills:
• Strong organizational skills required
• Individual must be proactive/take initiative.
• Strong time management skills are a must.
• Ability to be transparent, be inquisitive, and have the drive to learn.
• Respect and maintain confidentiality.
• Good communication skills, both written and verbal.
• 2-3 years relevant work experience preferred. Recent graduates with internships in events, sales, marketing or a related area will be considered as well.
Education Required/Preferred:
• Bachelors’ Degree is preferred.
