Position Overview
This is an exciting career opportunity for an experienced Business Analyst role in the Enterprise Information Systems organization. The position will be involved in the design and implementation of Robotic Process Automation projects to support all of the Autodesk business functions. The Robotic Process Automation Business Analyst is responsible for documenting, designing, and optimizing business processes, enabling these processed to be automated rapidly while adding great value in terms of quality, reliability, and reduction of manual effort.
Responsibilities
• Champion the vision and objectives around Robotic Process Automation and the value it can bring to our business processes
• Perform due diligence and assessment of business processes to determine target processes ideal for automation
• Contribute to the next steps as the team addresses the needs of ever evolving industry trends
• Collaborate with business owners and stakeholders across the enterprise to identify opportunities and align requirements
• Research and business analysis related to upcoming initiatives
• Influence the prioritization of the team roadmap based on the needs of the business and benefit to customers
• Inspire the development teams from the perspective of the consumer
• Work closely with engineering managers, technical leads, Solution Architects and key stakeholders to drive project planning and execution of complex enterprise software development projects
• Proactively identify, manage, and mitigate risks and unknowns
• Clear communication to executive stakeholders, using spoken, written, and visual mediums
Minimum Qualifications
• 3+ years of experience as a Product Manager, Agile Product Owner, Business Owner, or Business Analyst
• Understanding of the product lifecycle from research to decline
• Understanding of the software development lifecycle from requirements to maintenance
• Strong technical background and ability to understand complex product functionality, design and technical issues, in order to drive the right priorities, trade-offs, and resolutions
• Ability to adapt to change
• Strong Business Acumen
• Outstanding organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills (verbal/presentation/written) and the ability to facilitate dynamic meetings and discussions
• Must be a lifelong learner that is willing to grow in new directions
• Comfortable working as part of a remote team
Preferred Qualifications
• Previous work experience as an Agile Product Owner on a highly functional Scrum team
• Previous consulting experience
• Experience with common Product/Project Management tools (Aha!, JIRA)
• Previous software development experience
