iHeartMedia Ventures is responsible for identifying, managing and investing in strategic opportunities for iHeartMedia with the goal of driving innovation, platform expansion, and new business development. Investments of the group span a variety of industries including: smart devices and intelligent speakers, audio search, audio on demand, audio related ad-tech, programmatic advertising platforms, data and analytics, future automotive experiences, social media, VR, e-commerce, and subscription services.
iHeartMedia Inc. is looking for an intellectually curious, competent, creative, multidimensional and hardworking individual to maintain compliance & reporting associated with the active portfolio. Additionally, the Associate will be responsible for providing thoughtful analytics, research, and recommendations for value creation across the portfolio.
Responsibilities to Include:
• Detailed financial modeling and analysis
• Competitive analysis and research
• Maintenance and creation of quarterly reporting & compliance materials
• Drafting and developing presentation materials for the company’s Board of Directors, auditors, finance department, and operating committee members
Required Attributes:
• Judgement: Comfort with ambiguity and the ability to make decisions independently as required
• Analytical Thinking: Skillful quantitative and creative problem-solving abilities that result in actionable data enabling senior managers to make decisions
• Drive: Self-starter able to take initiative based on team priorities without a specific directive from senior managers
• Communication: The ability to write and speak clearly and concisely with team members and stakeholders
• Organization: Meticulous attention to detail and across multiple projects simultaneously
• Resourcefulness: Independent and proactive thinking
Recommended Experience:
• 2-4 years of experience in an analytics role within accounting, operations, and/or FP&A
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
• Strong command of excel modeling and financial analysis
• Skillful in the development of financial presentation materials and PowerPoint presentations
• Fastidious notetaking and follow through on directives
• Ability to provide cogent alternative solutions, confidently ask well-conceived questions, and prepare (or acquire) materials that challenge standard assumptions
