Job Summary:
Individual is responsible for advocating for radio, Entercom and developing new advertising dollars at agencies and with advertisers. Individual will report into the President of Entercom Radio Sales. Focus is on local but the opportunity to also sell national platform. Assets include on air, digital, events, sports play by play etc..
Responsibilities:
• Build customer relationships both at the advertising agency and advertiser
• At advertising agencies focus on strategy and planning teams at traditional media agencies, AOR’s, promotional agencies etc.
• Meetings with Planning teams
• Weekly “seed”emails
• Knowledgeable about accounts
• Present Why Radio
• Sell Entercom Initiatives
• Respond to RFP’s
• Protect existing business, grow existing accounts and develop new dollars
• Help to develop agency strategy
• Work with transactional team as they work to penetrate deeper into agencies to form new relationships and develop new dollars “help them move the ball forward on relationships above the buyer
• Interface with National Business Development Team at Entercom as business is moving from the client to the advertising agency and help navigate POV’s etc..
• Deep Understanding of top 100 national accounts and opportunities for incremental dollars RFP’s and other ways to grow national revenue for radio and Entercom

Work Experience:
• 10+ years in media sales and/or marketing with a proven track record in business development
• Radio experience preferred but not required
Education:
• 4-year college degree in marketing, advertising, business or communications
Certifications:
• None required
