JOB DESCRIPTION
Fox Cable Network Services, LLC seeks to work with the senior management across Fox Networks Group businesses to provide financial and strategic support. Evaluate new business opportunities and strategies for the company, including for its international media divisions in Latin America, Europe and Asia. Perform financial and strategic analyses in support of business plans for new initiatives. Analyze opportunities with emerging platforms and technologies. Analyze, develop and execute potential acquisitions, joint ventures and investments in the entertainment-related businesses. Support various business lines through special projects.
Master’s degree in Business Administration or related field, plus three (3) years of strategy and corporate development or related experience in strategic and financial planning for domestic and international markets in the entertainment industry, including experience in budget and long-range planning, and financial analysis, modeling and deal analysis.
*Specific skills: Also requires experience or knowledge in the following: 1) Company valuation modeling relating to corporate finance activity; 2) Domestic and international cable TV competitive landscape, including competitor and industry analysis; 3) Sports programming/production including global sports rights; 4) TV studio business and economics; 5) Global DTC services and business model; and 6) Working with financial and business resources including Factiva, Capital IQ, SNL, Kagan, Thompson One and Bloomberg
