The Commercial Manager for Nursing and Patient Solutions in Elsevier Clinical Solutions is an entry level position with key responsibilities for driving the group’s strategy and growth agenda.
We are seeking a driven professional with excellent communication and interpersonal skills to develop commercial offerings for Nursing audiences that address the complex needs of health systems. As part of the commercial team, the candidate will develop critical product strategy and sales skills, and learn to collaborate with Product, Content, Sales, Marketing and Customer Engagement teams to ensure revenue growth across the portfolio.
This role reports to Commercial Director of Nursing and Patient Solutions and is a great career development opportunity as part of a strong commercial team in the healthcare industry.
Primary Duties And Responsibilities
• Provide analyses on large health systems to drive positioning of Elsevier nursing solutions to meet customer needs
• Liaise with cross-functional teams to gather trends across Elsevier’s customer base
• Support commercial directors in developing solution and go to market strategies including pricing analysis, win and loss themes, customer segmentation
• Work closely with sales to identify winning sales strategies for key renewals and new business deals
• Help organize customer and advisory board meetings
• Analyze market trends to provide internal guidance on product offering
• Generate ad hoc analysis reports as needed
• Perform related duties as assigned
• Some travel is required
Minimum Skills, Knowledge And Ability Requirements
• Excellent communication and presentation skills, both written and orally
• Capable of building excellent cross-functional relationships, working across functional boundaries and at all levels of the organization
• Ability to think creatively and critically about customer problems and how to address them
• Strong analytical and organizational skills, including exceptional attention to detail
• Use of Excel, PowerPoint and other standard Office tools
• Bachelor’s degree required
