Role Summary
The Senior Manager, Revenue Assurance & Accounting is responsible for technical accounting, contract reviews, overseeing the month end close process, and other projects as needed.
Key Responsibilities
• Write technical accounting memos and policies for revenue, leases, internally developed software, etc.
• Review complex contracts to determine the proper accounting treatment.
• Oversee day-to-day accounting operations responsibilities including overseeing revenue and cost accruals, month end close, balance sheet reviews, journal entries, etc, primarily related to the revenue and cost of sales cycles.
• Review royalty accrual and payment processes to ensure they are in line with contract terms and accounting policies.
• Review account reconciliations for AR and Accrued Expenses.
• Design and implement SOX controls to ensure accuracy of the financial statements.
• Assist in various projects including ad hoc analysis and system implementations.
• Assist with identifying areas for process improvement & efficiency.
• Assist with special projects and research projects as assigned by management team, and perform other tasks as needed.
Qualifications/Experience
• 6 + years of general accounting experience, including public accounting experience
• Strong technical accounting experience
• Bachelor degree in Accounting or Finance
• CPA required, MBA is a plus
• Previous experience with major accounting software experience such as Oracle, Salesforce, JD Edwards, MS Dynamics SL, MS Dynamics GP, Citrix, PeopleSoft, SAP, etc.
• Intermediate to advance Excel skills
• Exceptional attention to detail with a high level of accuracy & integrity
• Excellent verbal & written communication skills

• This is largely a sedentary role; however, some filing is required. This would require the ability to lift files, open filing cabinets and bend or stand on a stool as necessary.
