JOB DESCRIPTION
Position Summary – The Project Coordinator assists the marketing/creative team with the end-to-end management of National Geographic’s 360 marketing campaigns and priority projects.
• On-board vendors through company systems.
• Initiate vendor contracting process with legal department.
• Prepare dial-ins, handouts, AV services, and recap notes for meetings.
• Act as point person if project manager is out of office
• Attend cross-functional meetings for priorities and maintain awareness of key premiere dates, schedule changes, and events surrounding priorities.
• Help deliver to and request assets from external vendors
• Manage and maintain priority tracking documents, project manager assignment lists, and deliverables lists.
• QC and proofread creative.
• Organize deliverables for digital campaigns.
• Package up digital files and organize assets into toolkits for global delivery.
• QC file structure and deliverables from vendors.
• Identify and help solve inefficiencies in workflow.
• Create and distribute marketing newsletters.
• Project manage as needed.
Qualifications
• Bachelor’s degree preferred.
• Project Management/marketing experience of 2 years preferred.
• TV experience preferred, but not required.
• Proactive self-starter.
• Passionate and curious about all aspects of the marketing business.
• Highly organized, yet possesses an ability to think creatively and find solutions to problems.
• Exceptional communication skills.
• Performs well and calmly under pressure.
• Accurate, detail and deadline oriented.
• Articulate, flexible, collaborative, and approachable.
