The Temporary Data Entry Assistant is responsible for maintaining large amounts of data in an administrative support role within the Hearst Magazines HR team. This position is responsible for interfacing and problem solving with HRIS and consultants. The assistant will report to the Executive Director of Human Resources.
This position is a temporary position with a possibility of converting to full-time in the future. All applicants are applying knowing this is a temporary position.
Job Responsibilities
• Perform data entry updates on Oracle HCM
• Validate data and measures to ensuring data integrity
• Escalates data issues and ensure follow-up issues are resolved timely
• Partner with the HRIS team to execute frequent data audits, resolving discrepancies
• Assist with other duties as needed
Required Experience
• Prior high volume of data entry experience preferred
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Excel (Pivot Tables) preferred
• Must be able to maintain highly confidential information in a professional manner
• Excellent organizational and communication skills and strong attention to detail.
• Ability to work under shifting and tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment
• Excellent problem-solving abilities
