U.S. News & World Report is seeking a paid intern for our consumer-oriented automotive site, usnews.com/cars. This one-year internship in our Washington, D.C. office is ideal for recent college graduates with strong data and communication skills to support our online data processes.
Our ideal teammate is deadline- and detail-oriented. You’ll gain experience working with a content management system, online publishing, fact checking, search engine optimization, image editing, and data gathering. Note that this is not a writing position. This is a great opportunity for a highly motivated individual to expand his or her experience in online media.

Requirements:
• Utmost attention to detail
• Ability to work on deadlines and handle several tasks simultaneously
• Strong communication and organizational skills
• Experience gathering, processing, and analyzing data from multiple sources
• Basic experience using Microsoft Excel (sorting, filtering, etc.)
Our internship rate is $13 an hour, and health benefits are available.
