Job Description
Daily Blast Live, an innovative live show from TEGNA, based in Denver, CO, has an immediate opening for a Senior Producer. If LIVE TV gets you excited and you have both news and entertainment experience, Daily Blast Live is the show for you!
The Senior Producer develops live show execution of sponsored segments and fixed programming. This person should have a passion for producing, a creative mind for product/brand presentation, an eye for detail, and know how to bring a show idea/concept to life across multiple platforms.
• Sets the vision for product/brand presentations and/or segments by working with TV support teams, developing content, and executing presentations.
• Receives item handoff from merchandising teams and leads LIVE show presentation execution plans. Sets and communicates the on-air vision and manages the LIVE show presentation approach.
• Regularly meets with the buying and planning teams and guests to gather information on the competitive advantage, product placement, and unique selling points of the product.
• Assess and request the needs for your category or brand.
• Lead/Guide the efforts of the Associate Producer, ensuring the production elements are in line with the business strategy for the category and the brand or theme for the live show.
• Lead/Guide the efforts of the TV Research and Development team members, ensuring product information aligns with presentation support and plans.
• Develop effective content and manage the delivery and approval of all creative assets to produce exciting TV presentations.
• Develop multiple platform strategies to support content of a presentation.
• Maintain a vision for maximizing business opportunities on social and digital platforms.
• Write and maintain accurate live show notes for a seamless broadcast execution.
• Accurately communicate to all TV support teams the vision for the overall presentation – i.e. the look for the studio and the concept of the brand/product.
• Develop and maintain the network brand identity/image; set guidelines and expectations for our business partners, vendors and guests; and ensure all content and support assets requests are aligned with our DBL brand.
• Provide support for cross functional projects and events – i.e. big promotions with high impact and visibility.

Requirements
• Degree in TV Production
• Live broadcast experience
• At least 7 years producing experience in television is required – live or field producing
• At least 1 year of supervising experience – leading people
• Proven creative ability in television producing
• Excellent verbal and written communication
• Must be proficient in Word, Excel and Outlook
• Must maintain professional relationships at various levels and cross-functionally within the organization
• Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment
• Works well individually and as part of a team
• Experience working with multiple content platforms
