Pearson is constantly looking to add to our AMAZING team! We are actively searching for a dynamic Marketing Assistant to provide support to the Director of Campaign Marketing for Pearson Higher Education, and the team responsible for delivering key product and thematic campaigns. In addition to general administrative support, this person will handle extensive creation and distribution of team communications as well as campaign communication via email, executive summary reports, blog posts, and social media.
Essential Responsibilities:
• Act as campaign and communication administrative liaison regarding creative aspects, events, conference planning, social media, press, and PR related activities
• Write and prepare eNewsletter communication(s) and updates
Qualifications
Required Skills/Knowledge/Abilities:
• Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Liberal Arts, or Business is preferred
• 1-3 years of successful experience in a similar role
• Highly proficient with Microsoft Office Suite Applications (Word,Excel and PowerPoint), Google docs/mail/calendar, etc.
• Exceptional organizational abilities with strong written and verbal communications skills
• Strong interpersonal skills necessary to be successful in an organizational environment
• Familiarity with social media and event planning highly preferred
• Meticulous attention to detail!
