Job Overview:
As part of our rapid growth in Business Services Comcast is looking to hire a top performing Vice President of Small/Medium Business Sales on the Central Division Business Services leadership team. This role reports to the Senior Vice President of Business Services and is responsible for developing and executing successful go to market strategies in our small/medium business markets including direct sales and marketing activities access to commercial buildings and achieving assigned sales connect and revenue objectives. The Vice President of Small/Medium Business Sales will matrix-manage a small/medium business salesforce of approximately 600 direct sales people across four Comcast Regions in the central and southeast U.S. He/she understands the economic drivers of small/medium businesses has successful team leadership experience selling and delivering internet voice and video services to those businesses and has implemented effective sales methodologies and processes to drive success in all stages of the sales cycle.
Core Responsibilities:
Lead and manage a team 10 field Sales Coaches supporting all Regions in the Central Division Achieve assigned marketing building access sales connect and revenue objectives
Partner with Region Vice Presidents and their leadership teams to achieve Region objectives Develop and implement effective go to market strategies to penetrate small/medium business markets acquire new customers and drive profitable growth
Lead sales and marketing activities serving our small/medium business markets and customers including our hospitality vertical market in accordance with Division and Corporate standards
Drive a disciplined approach to sales activity sales process management SFDC and sales tools usage Collaborate effectively with other departments including Finance Product Sales Operations Service Delivery Technical Operations Engineering Customer Care Training and Human Resources Perform strategic planning and analysis.
Develop and maintain business forecasts performance reports sales contests and incentives sales compensation plans project plans and budgets
Provide support for new market deployments product enhancements and new product launches
Help build high performing sales teams by attracting recruiting and retaining top talent Communicate Division goals and objectives to Division and Region team members Coach and develop Sales Directors Sales Managers and Sales Representatives to meet/beat objectives
Maintain a strong working knowledge of small/medium businesses and associated internet/voice/video applications service offerings and industry competitors
Perform general leadership and management duties inherent in all supervisory and professional positions along with other duties and special projects as assigned

Identify high value business opportunities in the Commercial, College/University, Government and Hospitality Markets (Target Opportunities)
Collaborate with Sales and Marketing to identify customer demand areas (Target Opportunities) and develop response strategies
Work with Commercial Development where applicable to develop a unified expansion plan for the Region
Represent Comcast's interest and develop relationships with key decision makers that drive the target opportunities to construction completion and transition to sales success
Work through multi-departmental processes and procedures for evaluation of customer expansion opportunities and decision criteria
Partner with Construction and Finance to execute on areas identified for network expansion
Partner with MDR team to obtain any necessary ROE prior to and during the construction process
Prepare properties developed for hand-off and optimal execution by multiple sales channels including both residential and commercial
Participate in local Chambers of Commerce, Economic Development organizations and key industry groups to expand Comcast consideration within the community
Establish data management and analysis processes, in order to identify Market Development opportunities and ensure effective use of capital expenditures.
Works closely with the sales channels to ensure alignment with the sales strategy
Regular consistent and punctual attendance. Must be able to work nights and weekends variable schedule(s) and overtime as necessary.

Additional Requirements
Must be located in Atlanta GA and willing to travel domestically 50% or more as needed
Valid driver's license satisfactory driving record and reliable transportation required
Education Level: Bachelor's Degree or pursuit of same, Undergraduate degree in business preferred MBA is a plus
Experience: Generally requires 12+ years related experience, previous sales leadership experience a plus
