Haymarket Media, Inc. is seeking a Contracts Administrator. This position is located in our New York, NY office.
Job Overview:
Work in a dynamic and energetic media company with market leading brands and great people in the convenient and desirable Chelsea/Midtown South neighborhood of NYC. Be exposed to a professional, growing media company and gain knowledge in media operation and contractual agreements.
The Contracts Administrator must possess general understanding of contractual language for client contracts/media placement agreements/insertion orders through legal, paralegal, or business contract coursework or experience. This individual will identify and review corporate contracts and draft agreement templates. The Contracts Administrator will also review client MSAs/agreements and vendor contracts. This position will also assist in system review and recommendation to aid in managing vendor contracts, approval, and record keeping.
The individual will provide first level contract review, develop knowledge base of standard terms and check lists for contract approval. The individual will be responsible for digital library of all vendor contracts.
Responsibilities:
• Review contract templates and establish repository of corporate templates including terms & conditions on media placements/sponsorships
• Review any outgoing agreements and contracts
• Review incoming client NDAs, MSAs, SOWs, and other agreements
• Gather vendor contracts across departments
• Record contract details and trigger dates
• Create digital library of vendor contracts
• Research applications to aid in ongoing management of contracts
• Other responsibilities as designated
Skills and Requirements:
• Business contract and/or paralegal coursework
• Detail oriented and accurate
• Ability to draft and review general contractual language
• Must be able to communicate effectively and professionally—both verbal and written
