The Associate Producer’s main responsibility is to assist producers in creating entertaining, strategic promos for the various platforms that support Showtime’s tune-in and branding messages.
Candidate must be able to:
• Coordinate a variety of assignments on a day-to-day basis;
• Prioritize and manage time to handle multiple projects for multiple coworkers;
• Create and produce his/her own promos for everything from theatricals to series.
• Be service oriented with internal and external partners;
• Be team player with creative partners and vendors.
• Be proactive. Willing to jump in and help out.
The candidate must be able to “wear multiple hats”, including but not limited to:
• Creative writing, brainstorming and concepts
• Strong understanding of video editing;
• Hands-on experience with video editing software (Adobe Products preferred).
Qualifications:
• A minimum of 2 years’ experience in either an entertainment company, television network, digital media agency.
• Being proactive in problem solving and a self-starter in taking on projects;
• Video editing basics and hands-on experience with video editing software (Adobe Products preferred);
• Time management skills to coordinate multiple producer’s projects;
• Effective communication with in-house and outside client partners;
• Understanding of department priorities and organizing work load accordingly;
• Good writing skills
• Passion for television, entertainment, and the social media landscape.
