The Technical Project Coordinator’s primary objective is to be responsible for coordinating multiple project activities as dictated by the Gaming Operations business unit. The TPC may also take on internal projects and initiatives within Gaming Operations.
Position Requirements
Essential Job Functions:
• Basic Knowledge of project management principles, concepts, and practices
• Basic knowledge of financial principles, such as depreciation, margin, and pricing
• Function as a liaison between Gaming Operations and other departments
• Intake new projects and determine key requirements
• Coordinate Gaming Operations projects
• Basic understanding of gaming regulatory requirements
• Ensure timely completion of project milestones
• Conduct internal and external customer calls as needed to complete project task
• Identify project risks and impacts and communicate to appropriate departments
• Coordinates priority issues and expedites or escalates for resolution in a timely manner
• Communicate project status accurately and in a timely manner
• Assist with ad hoc projects and process improvement events related to Gaming Operations
• Ability to work within an ERP application such as MAPICS and Oracle
• Strive to meet departmental and corporate goals while performing daily tasks
• Participate in training as needed
Qualifications:
0-1 Years
Education: Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience.
Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities:
• Gaming Industry experience desired
• Foundational finance knowledge
• Experience with Microsoft products such as Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, Visio and Excel
• Experience with MAPICS ERP, Oracle ERP, MS Project and SharePoint preferred but not required
• Detail Oriented
• High Level of Follow Through Skills
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to troubleshoot and propose problem resolution
• Ability to prioritize and meet deadlines
• Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously
• Ability to work independently with minimal direction but also work as a part of a team
