Canon Solutions America Business Development Specialist is responsible for supporting the organization's core business through research, analysis, and recommendation of new business initiatives. They are also responsible for the research, analysis, evaluation and recommendation of process improvements that will help support the growth of the organization's current product and service offerings.

Responsibilities
• Support the Director, Business Development in all stages of the sales process.
• Business process improvement.
• Ability to develop and implement quality assurance processes and procedures including test/use cases.
• Creating monthly financial reporting to measure department revenue
• Understanding of all sales tools such as Sales Force.com, Oracle, Marketo, and any new software applications.
• Knowledge of databases and database queries, with the ability to run reports on any platform.
• Standardizing processes, implementing procedures and documenting business processes.
• Requirements analysis of vertical market, product, or services.
• Requirements gathering and researching of the industry and competitors.
• Managing systems testing and supporting user acceptance testing.
• Scheduling and attending sales meetings with the Director.
• Preparing meeting notes and conducting follow-up tasks as appropriate.
• Researching and identifying new business leads through market research and industry publications.
Qualifications
• Minimum of a Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Finance, Accounting, and Marketing or related field, or equivalent work experience.
• 1-2 years’ experience in the marketing field, business field or other large firm with multiple concurrent projects.
• Experience with software/ printing /equipment/ electronics sales preferred, but not required.
• Ability to handle questions and objections.
• Professional, outgoing, persistent personality traits.
• Excellent interpersonal and verbal communication skills.
• Must demonstrate in depth knowledge and understanding of the targeted audience.
• Ability to work closely with outside reps.
