Job Description
THV11 Sales Operations Supervisor
THV11 (CBS) - a TEGNA media company located in Little Rock, AR - is looking for a Sales Operations Supervisor to join our team. This position will be instrumental in helping us develop and optimize systems and work flow solutions to allow our entire organization to better serve our customers. This is an opportunity for someone that wants to lead organizational change in the very exciting market space of marketing and communications. RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Lead the training and execution of new processes to gain complete compliance across our department;
• Devise and supervise work flow solutions to maximize the human and financial resources to yield higher profits;
• Work with the Sales Management Team to help ensure account managers and sales associates are operating effectively to ensure we are fulfilling priorities and meeting deadlines;
• Coordinate with account managers and sales associates to set up new customer accounts, contracts, order entry and revisions;
• Provide sales leadership with regular reporting as it relates to call activity and revenue delivery against budgets and initiatives;
• Assist the sales team with developing creative multimedia recommendations through research/insights to meet customer’s expectations while utilizing our full suite of products and solutions
• Create sales presentations, one sheets and other related materials for sales teams to communicate TEGNA value proposition and ideas to clients
• Effectively using all station provided sales tools & software, including WideOrbit Traffic, WideOrbit Sales, Nielsen, Kantar, Scarborough, Wiki, and any other company tools provided.
Job Requirements
REQUIREMENTS:
• High school diploma required;
• Proficiency in Microsoft products including Windows, Outlook, Word and Excel (a high degree of comfort working in Excel and database tools) as well as CRM applications including but not limited to Salesforce;
• 1+ years of relevant sales operations/sales management experience. Experience in media is a plus;
• Competency with basic accounting principles and aptitude for numbers and quantitative thinking.
• Ability to define a project, create a project scope of work, develop detailed associated tasks and manage these to completion;
• Ability to problem-solve and accustomed to working in a fast-paced environment;
• Strong written and verbal communication skills, as well as strong organization and time management skills;
• Solid people skills and work experience in sales organizations are also critical to success in this role
