Job Description
9Health has brought free and reduced cost health screenings to Colorado communities for 38 years, with its genesis coming from KUSA/9NEWS. For the past 30 years, it has operated as a standalone non-profit supporting 14,000 volunteers running 120 health fairs annually. 9Health is poised to increase its health and wellness impact and opportunity substantially in the coming years through increased utilization of its media and low-cost health innovations.
We have an immediate need for a Receptionist. This position will interface with clients, volunteers and guests. The receptionist will manage the reception area (main entry to building), answer all incoming phone calls and greet all guests. This position is the first point of contact with our customers (a.k.a. “Director of First Impressions”). The position offers a great deal of variety and the opportunity for an individual to take on additional responsibilities and projects with a “can do” attitude.
Responsibilities include:
• Greet and assist guests or escort them to office or meeting room
• Answer phone calls and transfer the call to the appropriate employees
• Forward voice mail and make sure they get to the appropriate employees
• Direct or reply to all general incoming emails
• Respond to website chats
• Sort and deliver faxes and incoming/outgoing mail
• Manage and record incoming donation checks
• Post mail and ship UPS packages
• Accept and sign for packages and distribute to appropriate staff
• Maintain staff mail box
• Maintain and Organize file room
• Maintain an adequate inventory of office supplies
• Maintain a pleasant appearance of the reception area or lobby
• Any other related projects or duties, as assigned by the CFO
Job Requirements

• Excellent multi-tasking and multi-phone line skills
• Customer service-oriented attitude
• Superior communication & organizational skills
• Adept at using the Internet
• General Knowledge of MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
• High school graduate
• Able to occasionally lift up to 50 pounds
• Valid drivers license and good Motor Vehicle Record
• Subject to full background check
• Spanish proficiency is a plus
