Job Title: Social Media Strategist Nightlife
Job Description and Responsibilities:
Wynn Resorts is the recipient of more Forbes Travel Guide Five Star Awards than any other independent hotel company in the world. Wynn Las Vegas opened on April 28, 2005 and was once again named the best resort in Nevada on Condé Nast Traveler’s 2018 “Gold List,” a title received for the tenth time. Wynn and Encore Las Vegas feature two luxury hotel towers with a total of 4,750 spacious hotel rooms, suites and villas, approximately 192,000 square feet of casino space, 21 dining experiences featuring signature chefs and 11 bars, two award-winning spas, approximately 290,000 square feet of meeting and convention space, approximately 103,000 square feet of retail space as well as three nightclubs, a beach club and recreation and leisure facilities. In addition to two luxury retail esplanades, a Strip-front expansion, Wynn Plaza, is currently under construction and is scheduled to be completed by the third quarter of 2018.
Manage all social media and online assets for the Wynn nightclubs and Wynn Social nightlife blog. Create and maintain budgets for online marketing initiatives and programs. Conduct research on online marketing efforts from competitors. Create content for all online media platforms. Maintain communication with Wynn Public Relations department. Assist superiors and carry out online marketing initiatives. Reports to the General Manager.
*Manage and develop content for all nightclub social media platforms such as Website, Facebook, Twitter, YouTube and Instagram.
*Planning test strategies for offers, segmentation, and creative of nightclub marketing programs.
*Collaborate and communicate with Wynn Public Relations Department to ensure cohesive representation of the Wynn nightclubs and Wynn Social online media.
*Creation and management of highly targeted Facebook and Google advertisement campaigns.
*Assisting marketing director and Wynn Social Editor in online marketing strategy and implementing initiatives.
*Assisting marketing director and Wynn Social Editor in compiling statistics and comparative updates for all social media channels used.
*Supporting the marketing staff in all areas of marketing programs
*Viral communications for promoting specific events
*Flexibility to perform other job related tasks as deemed necessary by management
*Assist with all department administrative responsibilities
*Manage all billing and invoicing and billing tasks
*Manage all communication between external partners and internal departments
*Ability to assist with industry research and contribute recommendations that will enhance marketing programs
*Proven ability to work in fast paced, deadline orientated environment
*Able to work both independently with little supervision, and as a contributing member of an Internet Marketing team
Job Requirements:
*Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Communications, or related field a plus.
*Proven advanced proficiency in Social Media and other Media platforms
*Proven advanced proficiency in Excel
*Organizational and detail management skills
*Minimum of 1 year work experience in Viral Marketing, including banner ads, social media advertising networks and search engine optimization
*Must be a minimum of 21 years of age
*Knowledge of internet marketing, industry best practices, and strong communication skills required
*Must be articulate, organized and proactive, with documented success working under tight deadlines
*Ability to install and maintain custom applications for social media accounts.
*Must be able to obtain and maintain any licensing or active work cards required, at present of in the future, for this position at all times
