Overview:
Are you interested playing an integral role in redefining how one of the nation’s leading media and information companies approaches digital advertising? Hearst’s Core Audience is seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented individual to join the San Francisco team as a Manager of Audience and Operations. This person would be proficient in procurement and optimization of digital display advertising, working with proprietary andbest-in-class technology partners to create unique value through execution and management of digital display advertising.
Responsibilities:
The Associate Manager of Audience and Operations is an operational lead for programmatic campaigns, responsible for exceeding client success metrics and performance goals. He/She plays a critical role in designing and delivering successful campaign solutions. Primary responsibilities for this individual are to manage setup, pacing, optimization, and reporting of client programmatic ad campaigns while playing a supportive role in driving new product executions and new business recommendations. Day to day responsibilities include:
• Serve as a technical resource for the Client Service team to help define, estimate, and propose solutions; serve as technology and process expert providing critical architectural inputs during RFI and RFP process.
• Translate campaign goals into a recipe for deployment and platform configuration requirements.
• Implement campaign strategies, new account set-ups, tagging, and audience activations.
• Provide guidance and direction to campaign implementation team.
• Work with media partners such to ensure accurate platform integrations.
• Activate data partners on campaign-by-campaign basis and implement data acquisition strategies within the budget constraints.
• Troubleshoot issues on all pre-production and live campaigns.
• Take ownership of campaign performance, recommending and conducting ongoing optimizations to ensure campaigns meet and exceed client goals.
• Analyze campaigns by evaluating performance against campaign goals and key performance indicators.
• Design and implement ad-hoc campaign reporting for monitoring and client delivery
• Identify and account for reporting and data discrepancies, ensure accurate campaign results and trafficking processes.
Qualifications:
• 1-2 years’ experience in the online advertising industry
• Experience in demand side platform (DSP) /Ad Exchange is a plus
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office solutions, particularly Excel and PowerPoint; knowledge of SQL and JavaScript is a plus
• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
• Excellent communication and organizational skills
