We are currently seeking a creative and entrepreneurial Associate Product Owner to help bring product visions to life. Adopting a user-centric mindset, you ensure our products meet the right need in the best way. Your role will focus on our platform products, which support our editorial staff and brand partners to create compelling content under the esteemed Forbes brand.
Forbes Product team members bring the best user experience, business strategy, and product design to market by validating creative ideas with usability studies, A/B testing methodologies and analytics. They work closely with the development leads and cross-functional teams on various corporate initiatives across different digital platforms - desktop, mobile, video, email, social, audio and more. What You’ll Do:
• Discover the needs and problems of your product’s user base.
• Work with product owners and technology to build and prioritize your product backlog.
• Define product requirements in partnership with stakeholders and in alignment with the overall platform strategy.
• Collaboration closely with UX/UI designers, engineering teams, quality assurance, and third party vendors to build out new features for testing and production implementation.
• Work with leadership to define product KPIs aligned with broader business goals
• Document new features and communicate functionality to end users.
• Actively measure and analyze existing products for opportunities to innovate and improve.
• Communicate effectively with customers, partners, business and technical teams and maintain strong relationships with relevant stakeholders.
• Keep abreast of the competitive landscape, industry trends, and digital innovation within the marketplace.

Requirements:
• 1-3 years experience in a product role.
• Bachelor’s degree in design, computer science or related field.
• Background in user experience and related techniques a plus.
• Experience with media products or Content Management Systems a plus.
• Experience with user engagement/testing tools a plus.
