The Sales Systems Product Analyst will join the Sales Intelligence and Operations team at Condé Nast Co/Labs. He/she will support the product management of two critical platforms for our Digital Sales Operation: SalesForce (Customer Relationship Management platform), and AdBook (Order Management System).
Reporting to the Associate Director of Sales Systems, the Sales Systems Product Analyst is expected to become the “go-to” person for new requirements, proactively identify pain points that can be solved through system enhancements, assist with running initiatives from concept through launch across both SalesForce and AdBook, and act as a tier 2 level of support for production issues.
In order to come up with innovative and creative solutions to streamline processes, workflows, and improve automation the Sales Systems Product Analyst will be working with Adbook’s vendor, FatTail on a daily basis, as well as with a dedicated in house team of SalesForce admins and developers.
The ideal candidate for this role will have some experience working with agile teams, and will possess strong decision making skills, attention to detail, ability to lead others, and interpersonal skills acting as a liaison between business units (Sales, Account Management, Finance, Ad Technology, among others).
Responsibilities:
• Facilitate discussions to gain consensus among various functional stakeholders.
• Lead agile requirement sessions with vendor and internal in house team.
• Work on projects from concept through launch according to roadmap.
• Manage small, medium and large initiatives including coordination with multiple stakeholder and development teams, risk identification, mitigation, issue tracking and resolution.
• Monitor and test new features for compliance before they get released to production.
• Produce release notes to share with end users following new code deployments.
• Communicate directly with stakeholders of all levels through written, and verbal mechanisms.
• Act as second level of support for production issues for both AdBook and SalesForce.
Requirements:
• 1-2 years of experience as product analyst in an agile environment.
• Experience working on Advertising/Media industry desired.
• Experience with Order Management Systems such as AdBook (FatTail), Operative, or DSM desired.
• Experience working with CRM tools such as SalesForce desired.
• Experience working with AdServers such as DFP desired.
• Quick study in new technologies
• Ability to translate business requirements into user stories.
• Ability to collaborate with the Tech Support team to work through issues.
• Ability to roll up detailed information into a format that is relevant to multiple levels, including the Executive Leadership Team.
• Ability to work closely with other impacted groups and gain consensus on integrated features.
