ROLE SUMMARY
Analytically support the Sales Incentive Compensation (SIC) and Royalty team by performing financial modeling, variance analysis, and ad hoc reporting. Administer the commission plans for the Domestic Sales Team. Execute SOX controls around data governance. Provide ongoing review of department processes for improvements and efficiencies.
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES
Operations
• Create and maintain relational data tables that capture the sales crediting rules for over 750 members of the domestic sales team
• Create and distribute official compensation statements and related reporting
• Partner with HR Compensation, Sales Operations, and TG teams to understand and implement improvements in existing processes throughout the year
Finance
• Support Royalty and SIC team to provide inputs to the Budget and Forecast
• Support Royalty and SIC team on financial modeling and expense analysis
• Calculate complex royalty payments and analyses while improving existing processes
• Perform variance & flux analysis
• Ad Hoc Analysis and Special Project Request
• Preform Ad Hoc financial modeling throughout the year
Training and Self Development
• Pursue professional development opportunities utilizing in-house and on-line training materials
• Continual pursuit of increased operational, finance, and accounting knowledge
• Maintain strong knowledge of generally accepted accounting principles as they relate to commissions
• Develop deep understanding of the interdependencies between the Commission, HR compensation, Sales Operations, and TG teams
EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE
Required:
• BS degree in Accounting or Finance, with preferred minimum1 year of experience in a position which included problem solving and analytical functions. Ability to prioritize and performance multiple complex tasks.
• Advance knowledge in Microsoft Excel. Excellent organizational and analytical skills. Demonstrated problem solving ability. Ability to draw analytical conclusion from complex data.
• Contribute effective solutions and identify efficiencies for process improvement. Ability to be a team player and to work in a fast paced, changing environment with a team that is focused on continuous improvement. Works well under pressure and able to meet deadlines.
Preferred
• Master’s Degree
• SQL, Experience with BI Tools (Microstrategy/Tableau)
• CMA/CPA
