Position Overview
Are you looking for a high energy team where you can make a direct contribution to supporting a great organization? We are hiring an IT Service Planner to join our fun and hard-working Digital Enterprise Services (DES) team at Autodesk.
The IT Service Portfolio and Marketing (SPM) team is seeking a Service Planner to work cross-functionally with engineering teams, marketing and internal customers to drive progress towards goals and objectives for Digital Enterprise Services.
You will support IT planning staff in the execution and delivery of strategic programs. Through a combination of your strong planning skills, solid communications skills, and excellent team work, you will help DES achieve its strategic objective of digitizing the employee experience.
Responsibilities
• Contribute to the development of Service Portfolio processes and frameworks governing Service Cost, Service Maturity, Service Operations
• Manage data-sets related to Service Portfolio processes and frameworks
• Ensure meeting artifacts and process documents are maintained/generated/distributed, to communicate progress to stakeholders
• Partners with the team that provides direct customer service ensuring resolution of customer problems, issues and concerns
• Assist with the coordination and facilitation of meetings (e.g., daily stand-up, backlog grooming, sprint planning, release planning, and sprint retrospectives); adapt process as required to maximize each team's success
• Working with Service Planners and other Project Managers on initiatives aimed at improving organization-wide processes, tools and culture
• Coordinating and scheduling the execution of deliverables across multiple teams
• Participate in pre-planning activities to inform decision making and business goal validation
• Guide the team in refining and managing the product backlog to deliver consistent business value
• Facilitating the removal of tactical and organizational impediments to team progress
• Identifying and coordinating dependencies with external teams
• Assisting with internal and external communication, improving transparency, and radiating information of the team status and issues
Minimum Qualifications
• A curiosity and eagerness to learn more about IT Services
• A tenacity to work through business problems and deliver business value
• Must have strong communication skills as well as build and maintain effective relationships with stakeholders and clients
• Learn about the projects you are helping guide to foster meaningful discussions and question assumptions
• Proficient with the Microsoft Office suite (PowerPoint, Excel, Visio etc.)
• 2+ years of software Project Management or Scrum Master experience, working cross functionally within an IT organization
• Literacy with Agile tools (JIRA, Kanban boards etc.) - Certified Scrum Master (CSM) preferred
