We’re looking for a Localization Specialist to join Snap Inc! As a member of the Localization team, you will work with teams across Snap to help adapt our products to the local market and deliver high quality experiences to Snapchatters around the world. Working from our Los Angeles, CA headquarters, you’ll collaborate with teams across the company to launch Snap’s global products on time and with high quality.
What you’ll do:
• Drive end-to-end localization for complex, international releases for Snap’s products
• Monitor internal workflows, identify areas for improvement, and make recommendations
• Work with external vendors to ensure project requirements are met with timely deliverables
• Build relationships with teams across Snap to ensure localization best practices are observed
• Create and maintain glossaries, style guides, and translation memories
Minimum qualifications:
• 3 + years of experience with localization project management at a consumer or enterprise technology company
Preferred qualifications:
• Experience collaborating with internal and external stakeholders at all levels of a company
• Deep familiarity with software localization best practices and CAT tools
• Experience working with iTunes Connect and the Google Playstore is strongly preferred
• Proficiency in another language other than English
• A strong sense of teamwork and the ability to build good relationships
• Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and in a fast-paced environment
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with high attention to detail
• A passion for Snapchat
