Position Overview
We are looking for a senior level internal Learning & Development Consultant who thrives by driving learning and scaling across an entire organization. We’re looking for someone who is both a big picture thinker who can plan a multi-year learning strategy, and also who can also relentlessly execute a specific program or learning outcome.
You are experienced in helping organizations assess talent and learning gaps, and designing programs to fill those gaps, whether delivered internally or with outside vendors. You use your in-depth knowledge of live, virtual, and blended learning to create high impact programs that drive measurable ROI to the business. You also have a deep curiosity in the cutting edge of corporate learning (virtual reality, social learning platforms, etc.) and are open to experimenting with new and different ways of doing things. You are highly collaborative, friendly and smart, and know how to vary your approach to accomplish the task at hand.
Responsibilities
• Lead cross-functional teams in the design, building, and implementation of enterprise learning solutions
• Partner with the business and other stakeholders to assess talent and learning needs, including skill gaps
• Manage vendors to deliver training programs and other services
• Deliver in-person multi-day leadership programs to employees or managers
• Design and deliver offsites for intact senior teams relating to team forming, strategy, or other team related issues
• Consult with our HR community to recommend solutions on organizational and team level challenges and optimization
• Use our learning technology ecosystem to develop and curate content and create learning paths from multiple sources
• Lead, manage and/or optimize other enterprise wide projects like Engagement Survey, Performance Management, Competencies, depending on current need
• Coach senior leaders based on 360 feedback instruments
• Build strong relationships with a range of cross-functional and global teams
Minimum Qualifications
• BA or BS required
• Graduate degree in Organizational Development or related field is helpful
• Minimum of 10 years Learning and Organizational Development experience in a fast-paced high tech environment is required
• Experience in adult learning (theory & practice), curriculum design and implementation, social learning expertise (curation, on-line, learning platforms, etc.) classroom and online instruction and delivery, vendor evaluation and selection, organizational change management, project management
• Strong interpersonal skills
• Be certified in one or more assessments (MBTI, 5 Dynamics, 360 feedback) to deliver meaningful team building workshops
• Team player with leadership potential
• Articulate and concise, with excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
• Ability to quickly adapt and work in a dynamic, fast-changing environment
• Ambitious and able to learn quickly
• People management is a plus
