JOB SUMMARY:Ranch Operations Crew works under the direction of the Ranch Manager. and is responsible for year round maintenance of properties that TSLE owns or has long term lease agreements on. They will participate in CapEx improvement projects as well as assist in the set up and strike for the temporary infrastructure for any event taking place on the property. The Ranch Crew maintains buildings and grounds, and participates in specific construction/destruction projects. The Ranch Crew works to maintain and repair ranch owned vehicles and equipment. Projects may include carpentry, plumbing, plug and play electrical work, equipment maintenance, fencing and general labor. This is a Seasonal job with work beginning mid May and ending mid September with the possibility of limited part time hours in the winter months.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
1. Building maintenance
2. Vehicle and equipment maintenance
3. Constant surveying of event grounds during the event for safety and aesthetics
4. Maintain the quality of the grounds, i.e. find creative solutions when inclement weather affects the function of the site.
5. Help out when and wherever help is needed.
6. Repair permanent fence lines
7. Mowing and trimming
8. Post-event breakdown of the site.
9. Support others with miscellaneous tasks.
10. Working knowledge of event safety and emergency plan.
QUALIFICATIONS:
1. Willingness to be a team player with a professional attitude when working as Townsquare Live Events staff.
2. Ability to create effective systems to enhance communication and productivity.
3. Ability to problem-solve and efficiently utilize resources available.
4. Work reflects professional written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills.
5. Knowledge of basic electrical systems and safety procedures.
6. Previous maintenance experience and familiarity with hand and power tools.
7. Ability to operated heavy equipment a plus.
8. Ability to simultaneously manage several tasks.
9. Work requires willingness to work a flexible schedule, work in a wide range of weather conditions and ability to travel.
10. Clean driving record with no DUI, DWI or other driving violations if operating a company vehicle.
11. Ability to lift or carry at least 75 pounds.
12. Frequent lifting and/or carrying objects such as heavy tools and equipment, cabling, and road cases.
13. Ability to bend, stretch, twist and reach.
14. Willingness to walk or stand for periods of time.
15. Knowledge of Townsquare Live Events Staff Policies and Procedures Manual and applicable Standard Operating Procedure Manuals.
