The Insights Coordinator in our Kentucky operation will assist with a variety of activities related to primary consumer research and secondary analysis of sales and industry data.
• Gather and examine information relating to the sales of instant products
• Provide competitive analysis for products and economic conditions impacting market
• Produce reporting on regularly scheduled intervals to be presented as to the trends and metrics found in these reports
• Produce ad-hoc reporting as required
• Develop a relationship with research vendors on behalf on internal and external customers
• Provide qualitative and quantitative analysis from research
• Assist in the development of state of the industry reporting
• Prepares marketing and research reports by collecting and analyzing and summarizing sales data
• Tracks product line sales by analyzing and entering sales data
• Implements marketing and research reports and experience with primary research such as focus groups, surveys and in-field data gathering
Position Requirements
Qualifications: Must have extensive report writing experience and skills, questionnaire design
Education and/or Experience:
• Bachelors degree in business, marketing, a social science field or related area
• 3-5 years related experience; Education may be substituted for directly related experience on a year per year basis (as determined relevant by the hiring manager)
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Especially Excel and PowerPoint); Experience with Access a plus
• Proficiency in the use of statistical software packages such as SPSS (Windows PC platform) in the area of cross-tabulation, univariate and multivariate statistical analyses
• Good communication and consultative skills (i.e. the ability to explain complex finding in simple terms to clients and co-workers)
• Organized and detail oriented with high quality performance standards
