Position Summary
Senior Financial Analyst
Responsibilities
• Prepare all journal entries
• Ensure all intercompany transactions are properly recorded and reconciled
• Preparation of bank reconciliations
• Review of accounts payable transactions, coordinating with eOne entity service provider to ensure transactions are properly recorded in a timely manner
• Preparation of funding or payments requests on behalf of management
• Generate and review all regular general ledger reporting for both individual and consolidated entities, including the preparation of balance sheet reconciliations
• Prepare ad hoc reporting, including JetReports, as requested
• Assist with submissions to corporate consolidation system
• Strict adherence to deadlines in all responsibilities
• Assist with preparation of budgets and forecasts
• Assist with the preparation of cash flow reports and forecasts
Key Competencies
• 3 to 5 years accounting and financial reporting experience required
• Experience must include journal entry preparation and balance sheet account reconciliations
• Excellent Excel skills required
• Experience using sophisticated financial accounting systems required
• Organized and flexible, with ability to work in a fast-paced environment with changing priorities
