Entry-level Digital Designer - PRH Audio
We are seeking an entry-level digital designer to join the Penguin Random House Audio Division working closely with the creative, marketing, and developer teams to play an integral role in creating engaging advertising campaigns across multiple digital formats. Responsibilities include designing and creating social media assets and interactive and rich media advertising (takeovers, overlays, banners), and assisting with responsive web design layouts for the Audio Publishing group and additional imprints including Books on Tape, Listening Library, and Living Language.
Requirements:
• Basic design principles and aesthetics
• Motion graphics and video experience
• Knowledge and experience with social media platforms
• Detail-oriented and self-motivated
• Ability to juggle multiple projects and adapt to changing priorities
• Ambition for breakthrough design while respecting deadlines
• Aptitude for forward-thinking, cross-platform digital design concepts
• Experience with User Interface Design including mobile device standards and responsive design
Additional Skills:
• Light experience or interest in User Experience Design a plus
• Knowledge of Agile development process a plus
• Ability to occasionally assist with print promo a plus
Qualifications:
• Background in Interactive Design, Communication Design or Equivalent
• 0-2 years visual design experience preferably from a marketing background
• Software skills include Adobe CC (After Effects, Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign), Sketch, and InVision
• HTML and CSS a plus
