Content Producer - PYRG
Penguin Young Readers (PYR) is looking for a talented content creator to share the love of books with readers across our social and digital channels.
As Content Producer for PYR, you will bring our picture books, middle grade novels, and young adult books to life through original video, animated assets, and photography.
Responsibilities
• Craft content that is unique to each of our key audiences (Parents, Teens, Tweens) and specific to each of our social channels
• Create animated assets for use on social media including stop motion, typography, and cinemagraphs
• Produce, shoot, and edit in-house video projects including author interviews, episodic content, Instagram Stories, and live streams
• Lead product and lifestyle photo shoots from concept and composition to photography and post-production
• Generate graphics, title packages, and thumbnail images for video assets
• Manage projects and relationships with outside producers, crews, and vendors
• Collaborate with digital marketing team to develop content for key titles, series, and authors
• Ensure all assets adhere to latest platform specifications and best practices
• Surface new content formats, trends, and concepts to share with the wider marketing group
Requirements
• Video reel or portfolio required with application
• A genuine love of books and reading
• 3-4 years of experience with video production, animation, or design
• Proficient in Adobe Creative suite, excelling in Premiere and After Effects
• Experience with photography and photo editing preferred
• Proven ability to multitask, pivot between assignments, and adapt to the fluid nature of projects
• Detail oriented and highly organized
