Job Summary:
The San Diego Airport Manager is responsible for overseeing all functions of the airport advertising program at the San Diego International Airport. He/she works directly with clients, contractors, and airport employees – facilitating sales, overseeing operations, and maintaining airport relations. He/she plays a key role in the success of the business in planning and execution of program operations and sales development.
Job Responsibilities:
• Implements targeted, customer-centric initiatives that drive revenue growth by leveraging appropriate resources and partnering with key stakeholders
• Drives for revenue goal attainment, both quarterly and annually through revenue reporting, projections, and forecasts
• Leads the strategic development of marketing programs and digital strategies to drive revenues and achieve business objectives
• Cultivates marketplace insights that generate new opportunities while helping to grow share with the existing customer base
• Engage with Airports and OOH National and Local Sales organizations and their supporting teams to develop impactful and effective marketing resources
• Works with Sales, Operations, and Finance Managers to set standards for revenues, productivity, safety, costs, regulatory compliance, rate and occupancy, inventory control and purchasing
• Implements enterprise-wide changes in policies, practices, methods, applications, tools and other standardization initiatives in the local market
• Drive sales into market through internal and external marketing efforts
• Foster a partnership with the San Diego Regional Airport Authority that enhances Clear Channel Airports’ reputation and increases revenue opportunities
• Work with Airport Operations Team for on-time installations and takedowns
• Manage inventory of signage, dates of removal, relocation, and repairs
• Works with Sales Manager on pricing and marketing of inventory to drive growth and maximize sales yield
• Develop with Marketing team, marketing material for San Diego Airport that will educate clients and sales teams, and drive sales
• Create working relationships with key airport stakeholders including airline managers, terminal managers, concessionaires, TSA, etc
• Represent Clear Channel Airports at community events throughout the city and airport
• Review all contracts for the market
• Exercise sound judgment in leading the market
• Facilitate sales opportunities for Airports and OOH National and Local sales teams, inclusive of airport walkthroughs and meetings
Job Qualifications:
Education
• Bachelor’s degree required, with a preference in Business
Work Experience
• 5+ years of leading a sales organization with specific accomplishments in strategic roles (i.e., empowering sales teams, building relationships with all levels of an organization, driving cultural change)
• Project Management and Operations Management experience desired
Skills
• A strong sales talent mindset – exceptional people management and team performance experience
• Knowledge of media and advertising industry, business cycles, and key revenue and expense drivers
• Deep and broad business acumen with strong analytical, critical thinking, decision making, and problem solving skills focused on achieve business results
• Able to multi-task and balance multiple priorities
• Has demonstrated leadership experience in a large sales organization, including experience building and developing a team
• Has excellent verbal and written communication skills, including delivering effective presentations and leading meetings
• Proficient in Microsoft software applications (i.e., Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint)

Other Requirements:
• Able to travel up to 15% of the time for periodic corporate meetings and industry events
• Access to a reliable vehicle and possess a valid driver’s license
