KPNX -12News is looking to hire a Marketing Solution Specialist who is creative, collaborative and knows how to crystalize the business needs of our advertisers, work with all departments and all TEGNA products and services and create a polished yet simple presentation that helps secure business for the station (including our vast digital solutions where appropriate). This expertise represents a critical element of the ad solution package that we provide to our clients here in Phoenix, AZ.

Job Summary:
The Marketing Solution Specialist (MSS) is an expert when it comes to the TEGNA Team and Tools. He/she knows how to deploy marketing solutions best to deliver complete results for our advertisers. The MSS interacts closely with the AEs to understand the business needs and challenges of the advertisers, and translates these business needs into innovative ad solutions that deliver a strong ROI.
Job Requirements
Job Responsibilities:
• Acts as a solution advisor and supports AEs during interactions with prospective advertisers. The MSS will need an in-depth understanding of TEGNA's various products, verticals, and solutions.
• Develops a comprehensive strategic solution that leverages TEGNA products and services
• Keeps the AEs informed throughout the ideation process of a solution development
• Produces a full proposal to turn over to the AE, once an advertiser is aware of the solution and is interested in seeing a plan
• Interacts with advertisers directly or through AEs to gather necessary information needed to produce a proposal tailored to their needs
• Reviews proposals with AEs to ensure readiness. (Presence of the MSS may be required when the presentation team delivers the plan to the advertiser.)
• Works with internal TEGNA team to determine if an existing solution can be deployed (such as a Hatch program); develops unique concepts that address the desired business results
• Once the sale is made, work with AE to ensure smooth transition to Account Manager and the rest of the fulfillment team
• Ensure AEs complete Campaign Brief in Salesforce
• Acknowledges receipt of Campaign Briefs and gathers any additional information needed from the AEs
Desired Qualifications:
• Bachelor's Degree
• 3-4 years related experience in pre-sale solution role, preferably within the media/ad agency industry
• Expert knowledge of PowerPoint and Microsoft Office suite
• Experience with Salesforce-CRM
• TV & Digital knowledge
• Outstanding verbal and written communication
