JOB DESCRIPTION
The Finance Coordinator will provide administrative support to NGP's Corporate and Digital divisions. Working closely with both teams, the finance coordinator will have exposure to exciting Digital projects and provide financial assistance to Executives within Corporate. Specifically, the finance coordinator will assist business operations teams in the facilitation of vendor onboarding, A/P billing, A/R customer set-ups and invoicing, purchase orders, projects and other financial tasks.
Responsibilities:
• Review/approve purchase orders and project requests as well as process billing in Workday; ensuring proper set-up and coding applied to all tasks.
• Track project costs and capital expenditures in accordance with company policy.
• Work with accounting teams during month-end process when necessary.
• Serve as supplier representative for both Corporate and Digital divisions by working with business operations to obtain vendor onboarding documents, ensuring accuracy and completion.
• Navigate the onboarding system for suppliers, setting up vendor profiles, securing additional validations and following through to completion.
• Perform light A/R duties by onboarding customers and processing invoices in Workday
• Provide Corporate and Digital teams with support related to T&E systems (Concur, HRG and Corporate Cards) and policies.
• Responding to inquiries and updating teams with changes in policies and workflows.
• Other tasks as assigned
Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s degree in finance or accounting; 1+ years of relevant work experience
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Advanced Excel skills and familiar with Microsoft Office (Outlook and Word); knowledge of Workday a plus
• Strong detail-oriented individual, self-starter with ability to multi-task, work effectively in a team environment and meet deadlines
