Travel Tags Inc. (A Taylor Corporation Company) is seeking a Director of Operations to join our team to drive growth through operational excellence and continuous improvement transformation for multiple manufacturing sites.
Work with business leaders from across the company, developing strategy and driving execution on the overall product roadmap. As the head of Operations for Travel Tags Inc., this position will oversee all manufacturing, engineering, quality, safety, and customer experience functions.
Responsibilities Include:
• Lead the development and implementation of comprehensive engineering and manufacturing strategies and programs that support the business goals in line with the business plan and appropriate market growth strategies.
• Work collaboratively with customers, suppliers, team members and support areas to develop solutions and high quality products for the customer
• Champion continuous improvement initiatives throughout the North American sites. Works closely with operations managers and quality team to ensure proper expectations are being set and deliverables are meeting expectations by site; successfully enable scalability to achieve goals of meeting quality, cost, and delivery objectives.
• Align with the VP of Innovation and business development to support growth through diversification.
• Leverage capability and capacity across multi-site manufacturing locations; align with VP of Sales to ensure the infrastructure is in place to support the revenue stream.
• Cultivate an environment that drives high employee engagement and reflects core values. Develop and drive plans to meet Business Unit financial objectives and performance and also capability growth
• Participate in Senior Leadership Team in strategic planning, visioning and positioning of Business Unit
Minimum Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, or related field
• 10 years related experience in a manufacturing leadership role with responsibility for large, multi-process plant operations
• Experience leading continuous improvement or Lean Manufacturing transformation
• Demonstrated track record driving profitability and growth initiatives
