Position Overview
The Staff Accountant will ensure the timely and accurate monthly billing. The Staff Accountant will also assist the Sr. Accountant and Accounting Manager with the administrative Finance and Accounting functions.
Responsibilities
• Reviews all Purchase Orders, Standard Orders, Acceptance Letters, etc. for completeness prior to billing
• Processes timely and accurate customer invoicing for the Equipment and Service selling channels
• Work directly with Corporate Headquarters to resolve any billing discrepancies and performs corrective actions
• Review Accounts Payable Invoice coding for accuracy
• Updates Daily Cash Forecast
• Assist with the preparation of journal entries and accruals during the month-end close
• Assist with the preparation of the detailed quarterly and annual budget process
• Assist and prepare schedules on request for periodic internal audits
• Assist with other Ad hoc reporting as required
Qualifications
• A minimum of 2 years related accounting work experience to include prior invoice billing in an Accounting or Finance environment
• Must have basic excel skill set
• Experience with Great Plains, Hyperion Financial Management and Oracle E-Business a strong plus
• Strong analytical skills are a must
• Strong attention to detail is a must
• Self-motivated individual and the ability to work independently
