Overview and Responsibilities
The Yield Analyst, Digital Platforms will be responsible for managing and monitoring strategic sales partnerships across Viacom Media Networks Digital Portfolio of Brands [including MTV, VH1, Comedy Central, and Nickelodeon]. The Yield Analyst will work across multiple sales channels and with multiple third party platform partnerships for Video, Display and Programmatic Sales. The ideal candidate will be a highly strategic individual who possesses strong quantitative & analytical skills, inherent curiosity in the digital media space, excellent client relationship skills and a desire to learn in a fast-paced industry.
Key Responsibilities:
• Work with team on high impact projects to improve revenue generation and yield management across the entire digital video and display business
• Develop and monitor metrics on the financial and operational health of strategic sales partnerships in order to identify and resolve issues and maximize revenue from those partnerships
• Aid in relations and responsibilities related to 3rd Party partners including; onboarding, campaign management, revenue forecasting, internal and external stakeholder management, reporting and billing reconciliation
• Work with internal Pricing & Inventory teams to effectively forecast supply & demand
• Support programmatic and data-driven campaigns on Viacom properties
Basic Qualifications
• Knowledge of DFP, FreeWheel, SSPs and Programmatic selling; other ad-serving platforms and rich media vendors
• Relevant work or internship experience in an Agency Trading Desk, DSP / SSP or Publisher
• BA/BS in Business, Engineering, Mathematics, Economics or other analytically and quantitatively focused field
Additional Qualifications
• Must have advanced-level MS Excel & PowerPoint proficiency
• Must possess very strong analytic and problem-solving skills
• Demonstrate proficiency in mathematical calculations and spreadsheet-based analysis
• Ability to meet deadlines in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
• Ability to manage and prioritize the needs of multiple customers
• Strong communication and client relationship skills; ability to publicly present ideas and share information
• Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with managers, external clients and 3rd Party vendors
