Job Description
KHOU Media Solutions is seeking a Sales Support Specialist to join our sales team. This position provides clerical support to our sales team including sales managers, account executives, and account managers.
Key Responsibilities include:
• Respond appropriately to incoming calls and emails from clients
• Order entry with high level of accuracy
• Update and monitor digital creative scheduling
• Request digital creative
• Pull reports as needed, including pre-logs, post-logs, invoices, late-runs, audience delivery/post-buy analysis reports, etc.
• Work with sales staff and clients in researching and resolving discrepancies
• Work with traffic and production operations as needed
• Assist in maintenance and updating of sales support material
• Provide back up support for other sales, traffic, administrative, and other station personnel
• Coordinate sales project merchandising and promotional support
• Organize departmental and station functions
• Maintain files
• Record Call-ins
• Enter and monitor under delivery
Key requirements and qualifications include:
• A college degree is preferred
• Minimum 2 years of administrative experience in a sales/marketing environment preferred
• Ability to work effective as part of a team and independently
• Strong computer skills including MicroSoft Office Suite and Wide Orbit
• Ability to set priorities and handle multiple tasks simultaneously
• Strong communication and organizational skills
• Ability to effectively solve problems
• Ability to adapt quickly to change
• Strong time management skills
