This position supports the Central Order Desk within the Supply Chain Services organization and is responsible for monitoring and analyzing the inventory levels at warehouse locations to ensure network equipment orders are fulfilled on a timely basis while optimizing the amount of inventory on hand. This person will develop an understanding of both the purchasing dynamics of field operations and order lead times for equipment vendors to coordinate the supply and demand surrounding warehouse stock.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
• Using SAP Inventory Management, monitor inventory levels, pending orders and sales order demand to ensure stock is on hand to fulfill network equipment orders on a timely basis.
• Coordinate Forecasting of Network Equipment requirements across all regions and communicate forecast updates to Key Vendors to manage lead-time and available supply.
• Coordinate the transfer of stock across warehouse locations
• As needed, serve as lead for resolving any inventory level issues in working with vendors, warehouse and field associates.
• Utilizing SAP Supplier Relationship Management (SRM), review and validate equipment orders including special notes, drop-ships and purchases flowing through interim locations to ensure appropriate handling.
• Maintain and publish metrics related to service level, inventory, inventory aging and other key measures of performance.
• Coordinate with the Catalog team to phase-in / phase-out of inventory due to item revisions or technology changes
• Assist field associates with questions on placing orders, order status and associated changes
• Communicate new policies and procedures impacting the field
• Work directly with vendors to resolve goods receipt and billing issues to facilitate timely vendor payments and accurate accounting

Job Requirements:
• Bachelor’s degree required
• 2-4 years order management experience
• Experience with wireless operations preferred
• Business acumen and understanding of the service parts industry
• Strong customer service orientation
• Experience with SAP preferred
• Experience with Microsoft Office applications required (Excel, Word)
• Strong communication and organizational skills required
• Must possess an attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple assignments and tasks
