JOB DESCRIPTION
Primary Function:
Provide accounting support for Domestic and International bank accounts tied to Third Party Fulfillment vendors. Maintain daily log of deposits and refunds, reconciling bank activity to vendor reporting. Prepare and post Journal entries to properly account for Cash and Credit Card activity.
Responsibilities:
• Download daily activity from Domestic and International bank accounts. Reconcile deposits and refunds per bank to third party reporting provided by fulfillment vendors and credit card companies.
• Prepare and post Journal Entries to properly account for bank activity, including deposits, refunds, bank fees, and wire transfers to other NGP bank accounts.
• Prepare and post Journal Entries for Subsequent Cash
• Prepare ad hoc reporting for Cash Flow and other financial analysis.
• Assist with inquiries during SOX and audit reviews.
• Other projects as assigned to support NGP AR, Revenue and Cash accounting functions.
Education & Experience:
A degree in Accounting or Finance preferred. 3+ minimum of related work experience. Prior cash/credit card reconciliation and reporting experience preferred. General ledger, journal entry preparation, and working knowledge in foreign currency conversions a plus.
Skills:
• Proficient Knowledge with computer based accounting systems, preferably Workday, and all Microsoft office applications (Access, Excel, and PowerPoint)
• Solid written and oral communication skills
• Knowledge of GAAP and best practices of Industry
• Strong Organizational skills and ability to manage multiple tasks in complex automated general ledger environment.
• Detailed oriented, ability to perform in-depth research account analysis and reconciliation;
• Ability to identify problems and recommend solutions to management
• Ability to manage time efficiently, meet deadlines and prioritize workload
• Familiarity with foreign currencies.
