PART-TIME BOARD OPERATORS/PRODUCERS TO RUN SPORTS AND REMOTE EVENTS
Cumulus Media Columbia/Jefferson City, Missouri is offering a great opportunity for a Part Time Board Operator. Our candidate should possess an extremely good work ethic, be a self-starter, and be highly organized with the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
Cumulus Media of Columbia/Jefferson City is made up of eight radio stations: 101.5 KPLA, Q106.1 KOQL, 102.3 KBXR, News-Talk 1400 KFRU, Nash 100.1 KBBM, Z104.1 KZJF, News-Talk 1240 KLIK, and Cool 97.5 KJMO.

Our Opportunity:
Cumulus Media Columbia/Jefferson City has a position that requires extreme reliability and flexibility. The position requires a fast-learner, someone familiar with audio equipment and automation, and a person with a good demeanor around others.
Qualified candidates must have some college radio or small market radio experience. Duties include running the board in a radio station control room broadcasting a variety of syndicated and rebroadcast content as well as certain specialty live shows. Job specifics include playing all commercials as scheduled, and maintaining a commercial log. Also must have audio production skills to help with preparation of the shows and perform other tasks as assigned by the Operations Manager or Program Director.
JOB SUMMARY:
Candidate must be familiar with FCC rules and regulations and EAS guidelines, as well as be proficient using computer systems such as OpX, or AudioVault. Being adept using Adobe Audition and other audio editing and automation programs is a plus.
As a board operator, the majority of hours will come from evenings and weekends.
Successful candidates may be assigned other duties than those outlined in this job opening.
