The Regional Sales Manager, Enterprise Fax; is a member of the j2 Cloud Services Cloud Connect, Corporate Fax sales team in the U.S. and is responsible for the acquisition and development of customers within their assigned territory. Reporting to the U.S. Regional Sales Manager, the Regional Sales Manager will be highly engaged in prospecting for new customers for the corporate fax solutions, following up and developing provided marketing leads, supporting the inside account sales team where face-to-face and other higher level account management considerations must be attended to, supporting existing customer expansion plans, providing inputs for products, solutions and services to the company as well as providing competitive and opportunity feedback to the company for their assigned territory. The Regional Sales Manager plays a key role in the new account acquisition and thru to onboarding as well as expansion and manages all aspects of their territory through the CRM tool (Salesforce.com).

The ideal candidate will demonstrate creativity, energy and enthusiasm for hunting and developing customers and passionate about new ways to solve customer business challenges using best-in-class, industry leading, but also mature technologies in a highly competitive market. The candidate must be disciplined in managing their territory and interactions within the CRM tool, maintain an accurate up-to-date pipeline forecast, be intimate with their existing customer use cases and challenges and willing to engage all functions within the company necessary to win new customers and support existing customers. Finally, this candidate must demonstrate a high degree of integrity and ability to build trust with customers, as well as demonstrate a high business aptitude to win opportunities but also be a good steward of the company’s resources and profits.
Job Duties:
• Direct sales of j2’s products & services within the territory assigned from inside through to account management and professional services and support
• Professionally manage both the pre and post sales activities for the products and services in a clear, well defined and logical manner
• Assist in the expansion and refinement of j2’s sales strategy and execute plan accordingly.
• Develop new prospect and customer relationships.
• Build awareness of j2 products within relevant markets.
• Provide feedback from external markets to j2 Marketing and Product Management Team.
• Develop, via cold calling and other direct marketing approaches, prospects for their pipeline
• Create and manage proposals
• Ability to present and provide basic product demonstrations
• Ability to define various buying influences within an organization and manage a complex sale.
• Negotiate final proposal to agreement on new customer acquisition
Job Requirements and Experience:
• Minimum 15+ years sales experience in similar industries selling to IT organizations of large corporations.
• BA/BS Degree preferred or equivalent experience.
• Ability to work independently from home office.
• A proven track record of successfully selling high tech products and services, preferably software-as-a-service
• Track record of quickly growing and generating sales from large corporate accounts in an emerging market.
• Ability to connect with and converse with “C” suite executives about business and related challenges and solutions
• Experience managing a large territory and working from a virtual office
• Ability to identify, attract and work with system integrators and service provider partners as needed
• Background in document creation, management and delivery
• General understanding of document and information security
• Ability to travel sufficient to build and support the territory and also required sales meetings and events
• Excellent written and verbal skills
