Role Summary
The Aircraft Engineering & LRU Integration group is primarily responsible for the development and qualification of connectivity and wireless IFE systems and components for retrofit of commercial aircraft.
Key Responsibilities
Responsible for managing control and administration of the document management system. .
The candidate’s main responsibilities would include:
• maintains standards and procedures to ensure that configuration management controls meet business needs
• Identifies problem issues, i.e. outside requirements, and recommends solutions as appropriate.
• Ensures version control integrity for software and non-software components
• Authorizes the release of drawings and documents to appropriate personnel
• Validate internal Engineering drawing and document packages prior to FAA submittal
• Open ECOs, distribute study copies and distribute to customers.
• Create item and document numbers
Qualifications/Experience
• Bachelor’s Degree desired
• Must demonstrate effective communication, writing and interpersonal skills and the ability to interface across multiple departments and stakeholders
