This position, reporting to the Director of Revenue Accounting, offers the opportunity to assist revenue team in accurate revenue reporting and customer objectives while yielding desired economics and accounting outcomes.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
• Run reports for transaction data, allocations, event triggers and calculations from Revenue Management
• Run reports and download supporting documentation from SAP
• Prepare and/or upload standard monthly journal entries
• Assist with monthly reconciliations and periodic closes schedules and revenue forecasts
• Assist in providing audit support for revenue transactions
• Support various special projects as required
• Prepare various ad hoc reports as requested
QUALIFICATIONS:
Required Education, Experience and Skills:
• Enrolled in College or University for Bachelor's Degree in Accounting/Finance
• Working knowledge of United States Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (US-GAAP)
• Advanced Excel skills (Pivot tables, V-lookup)
Preferred Experience and Abilities:
• Strong written and oral communication skills, organizational skills, attention to detail and excellent analytical skills
• Self-motivated with the ability to work independently, multi-task and work in a dynamic fast-paced environment
Physical Requirements:
• Might be in a stationary position for a considerable time (sitting and/or standing).
• The person in this position needs to move about inside the office to access file cabinets, office machinery, etc.
• Constantly operates a computer and other office productivity machinery, such as a calculator, copy machine, and computer printer.
• Must be able to collaborate with colleagues via face to face, conference calls, and online meetings.
