UX Leads at SapientRazorfish are responsible for the interaction design, navigation, organization and task flows for complex omnichannel digital solutions, software, mobile devices and applications. You will apply user-centered design methods to translate user needs, business objectives, and technology capabilities into world-class user experiences for leading companies. In addition to being an expert in your craft, you must have a basic understanding of related creative disciplines, such as user-centered research, visual design, site development, content strategy, and brand strategy. You are accountable for the UX track of work on projects large and small and can articulate the high-level strategy for a project, but also get right down in the weeds and create exceptional UX artifacts and deliverables. You work collaboratively with colleagues on cross-disciplinary projects, consult with clients to shape strategies that deliver business value and customer satisfaction and are a UX mentor and leader. UX Lead
Key Responsibilities
• Lead and balance multiple projects and/or work streams
• Drive the development of engaging scenarios and frameworks that describe key aspects of a proposed experience, and how it reconciles business and user needs
• Lead the creation of visually compelling representations of the solution’s high-level interaction, navigation, and organization design (i.e. concept models)
• Lead and contribute to the creation of design systems and frameworks, comprehensive sitemaps, wireframes, process flows and prototypes, and present deliverables to senior clients
• Lead stakeholder interviews, including: conducting, preparing notes, and analyzing findings to understand key success factors for a project or pursuit
• Lead participatory design/user testing sessions and presents findings and recommendations to cross-functional teams and senior clients
• Develop user flows, ecosystems and journey maps and collaborate on persona development
• Collaborate with Consumer Insights, Analytics/Data Science, and clients to apply data and insights to UX design decisions and to determine UX success metrics & KPIs
• Identify opportunities to create business value and improve the user experience, based on user research; organize opportunities into visually compelling matrices or maps
• Be accountable for estimation and scope of UX activities and deliverables
• Contribute to project planning, practice development and new business pitches
• Define processes and deliverables that meet project goals and are reasonable within operational, cultural and technology constraints
• Collaborate with Strategy, Content & Copy, Visual Design and Technology
• Clearly articulate rationale for UX approach and defend design decisions in the context of both business and user needs
• Lead team meetings and client reviews

Job Requirements
• Degree in interaction design, human computer interaction, engineering, or industrial design preferred
• 8+ years of experience working on complex software, transactional or ecommerce experiences, with medium to large-sized teams, preferably in a cross disciplinary digital agency
• 1+ years team management or team lead experience
• Expert in user-centered design methods and techniques
• Proficient to expert in Sketch, InVision
• Knowledge of Principle, Flinto, or other prototyping tools
• Knowledge of MS Office and Keynote required
• Excellent analytical and process-oriented skills
• Experience leading multidisciplinary sketching and ideation sessions with teams and clients
• Experienced in both agile and waterfall methodologies
• Familiar with scoping and estimating UX tasks
• Experience leading the UX on a single, small to medium-size project (<$5M) and/or lead multiple tracks of work on large project ($5M+)
• Experience working on multiple projects simultaneously
• Ability to work collaboratively on multi-disciplinary teams
• Prior experience in a consulting firm or agency preferred
