The Benefits Team are the caregivers of HR. We are the guardians of the health and welfare plans that keep our employees happy and healthy, ensuring the programs we offer help drive and produce great employees. Our Human Resource Information System (HRIS) system of choice is Workday, and we strive to enhance and configure the system to take advantage of the next cool feature as well as to fit the forever evolving culture at WMG.

Not only is WMG a dynamic and vibrant business to be a part of, as a member of the Benefits team you will be able to work hands on with our third party vendors to ensure our benefit plan design and administration help drive business performance. The Sr. Benefits Analyst will be a key partner as we transition from our current state payroll ADP Ev5 to Workday, one of the leading cloud-based systems in HR Technology. This role will give you the exposure to garner the knowledge to work with the system, be a part of enhancement projects and challenge the ever-changing landscape.
Here you’ll get to:
During the transition period, the Sr. Benefits Analyst will:
• Receive knowledge transfer regarding benefit policies and procedures based on the current state model, Workday integrations to third part benefit vendors and current state Payroll ADP Ev5 platform
• Following the knowledge transfer period, apply knowledge gained to take over benefits processing through Workday and all related procedures, including running integration files from Workday to ADP, reviewing output, troubleshooting errors, resolving issues and partnering with bi-weekly pay runs
• Comply with internal and external business controls environment and agreed benefits, payroll and HRIS operating procedures
• Build knowledge of the Workday Benefits environment supporting testing and configuration decisions leveraging opportunities to learn the technology and WMG
• Support Workday Payroll implementation project activities as required to ensure its successful go-live targeted for January 2019
After the transition, the Sr. Benefits Analyst will:
• Act as the Subject matter expert and day to day contact for employees and HR Partners in the full range of employee benefit programs including medical insurance, dental insurance, vision, STD, LTD, voluntary life insurance, ACA, and Fidelity retirement plan, FSA/Commuter Transit, COBRA, including managing the workday self-service benefits system
• Point of contact for all third party vendors ensuring accuracy of data
• Manage WMG Benefits Email box
• Administer all Leave plan activity in Workday (STD, LTD, FMLA, WMG Baby Bonding & Child Care programs) and be the point of contact for all employees on absence matters including clarifying eligibility and understanding state leave regulations
• Conduct weekly new hire Benefits orientation, in person and virtually
• Reconcile and fund bi-weekly Fidelity 401(k) and Health Savings Account and proactively manage 401(k) match and file errors within Fidelity’s PSW system
• Assist the US Benefits Director in the design, content curation and administration of Wellness initiatives
• Act as a liaison between employees and third party vendors when escalation issues arise
• Process and reconcile benefit vendor invoices
• Assist employees with online self-service enrollment and life events
• Monitor benefit related integrations and work to resolve administrative errors with carrier representatives
• Produce accurate and timely reporting and upload files for benefits, including census data, cost versus compensation comparison and relevant regulatory filings
• Performs ongoing audits for benefit deductions through payroll and remittances to carriers on a regular cadence to ensure data accuracy and integrity
• Test Benefits systems changes and or resolution of defects as they relate to benefit configuration in Workday or third party vendor systems
• Proactively manage Affordable Care Act reporting requirements and data tracking
• Set up new year’s plan parameters in Workday for annual open enrollment process, including communications and employee enrollment meetings
• Benefit liaison with HRIS
• Back-up for Benefits Director
Rockstar candidates will be able to:
• Bachelor’s degree and/or related industry experience.
• At least 3 years of Benefits experience with understanding of self-insured and fully-insured benefits
• Tech-savvy individual with experience and proficiency in multiple tools and systems, including cloud technologies (preferably Workday) and cloud update cycles
• Organised individual with impeccable attention to detail and ability to maintain confidentiality
• Demonstrate proven success in executing end-to-end benefits processing, problem resolution and quality customer service
• General experience of the principles and practices of general HR, compensation and payroll
• Proficiency in MS365 (including Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint) Must know pivot tables, V Look Up, formulas
